About this deal

The Logitech G403 HERO is the wired version of the Logitech G403 Prodigy Wireless, and it has the same shape and button layout. Connect to your 4G LTE mobile connection with fast download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps 1, and enjoy a fast and responsive Internet experience, allowing you to surf the web with ease and stream music and video without buffering. The side buttons are well-placed, as they're high enough that you won't accidentally trigger them but still within reach.

Instead, the G403 and G Pro use plastic deformation elements that connect the keyplate from the housing to the mouse, and deform on button press. Lastly, it has superb software support through Logitech's G HUB, allowing you to customize it exactly the way you like. We've found that the mouse seems to sit most naturally in the lower half of the palm, with the index and middle fingers landing squarely in the center of LMB and RMB. The Logitech is a right-handed mouse with a slightly curved body, with two buttons on its left side.I have a sneaking suspicion the mouse feet on the 403 might wear down quicker if you happen to be a little too aggressive with it or don't use it on a pad.

It has a great build quality and a comfortable shape that's well-suited for most hand sizes using a palm or claw grip. Also, the software is compatible with Windows and macOS, while the Mad Catz only has software compatible with Windows. The Logitech G403 and its wireless companion are both under review today, as is the accompanying G Pro mouse. We prefer the scroll wheel on the G403 to Zowie's, but you may prefer the shape of the Zowie mice -- that's more subjective. On the other hand, the Logitech has a more neutral look and is a bit more versatile, as it also performs well as an office mouse.

Advanced users can use G HUB to configure the 6 programmable buttons to simplify in-game actions and quickly execute complex tasks. This update adds a new Sensor Latency test and makes minor changes to several of our existing tests, resulting in test result changes in several sections. It has a comfortable shape suitable for most hand sizes, though smaller hands might have trouble reaching the scroll wheel with a fingertip grip.

Otherwise, assume any technical sensor, accuracy, or button functionality is equal on both the G403 and G Pro.The closest competitor to this (that we are aware of) is the SteelSeries Sensei, which tests at -1dBm.

That said, there is a noticeable difference between Logitech's hyper scrollwheels and those used on the G403 and G Pro, but the target market is different. On the other hand, the Ninjutso connects either wirelessly with its USB receiver or with its charging cable, which is more flexible than the braided cable on the Logitech.
