Thanks to the Chewing Gum Task Force, we are not only able to tackle existing stains with new equipment but also minimise gum dropped in the future with behaviour change materials. This beautiful garden near the city centre and fort is a true haven for nature lovers and families seeking a tranquil outing.

The service there was very well carried out, only issue is we were moved from room to room to room(down and upstairs). The breakfast room floor is the best but the view of the market as you are eating or just pondering is fantastic.

The Old Weavers House is a popular riverside pub in Canterbury with delicious homemade pies and traditional roast dinners. seriously though, a nice compact (vertical) place of history- hard to imagine anyone jumping from here, i read about 2 chaps who did, desperate! The Canterbury Roman Museum is an archaeological attraction in the city of Canterbury in southeast England. It has a few comfy chairs along with a bookcase should you find yourself wanting to unwind with a glass of wine. The font alone is from 900 years ago and a few famous residents are buried here including the creator of Rupert the Bear.Premier Inn Canterbury City Centre is a casual hotel situated in the heart of the city centre, walking distance from the historic sights of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine's Abbey. Staff were a little disjointed at dinner and breakfast with items missing (I had no mushrooms and my friend had no bacon at breakfast which rather than take the breakfast back left it while we waited around 10minutes for the missing items to be brought to the table). The place was busy due to Christmas parties and other guests, but the staff was attentive and provided us with all necessary information. Canterbury Christ Church University and the Students’ Union believe all students, staff and visitors have the right to live, study and work in a safe and supportive environment, free from bullying, harassment or violence of any form. Fine craftsmen from medieval times to the Tudors and Stuarts have left their mark on Canterbury's streets and thoroughfares, from the pilgrim inns and medieval timber-framed houses to the striking Norman Cathedral in the city centre.

So if you have difficulty with stairs this may not be the place for you, it is though a fantastic place for hide and seek 😁. BID projects are focussed on making Canterbury a vibrant, exciting, well connected and successful business community, and an attractive, clean, green, safe, enjoyable destination for everyone. While my photos imply a lot of greenery, most of the city centre looks more like Hospital Lane and High Street – no sweet little front gardens, just cobblestone or blacktop. You won't be able to apply for, report something or pay for most services online at the moment while we investigate a cyber incident. So, next time I come I'll be changing the breakfast bread for lightly toasted muffins and well cooked crispy bacon!It was originally founded as an almshouse to provide accommodation for pilgrims visiting the tomb of St Thomas Becket, who became a popular pilgrimage site in medieval times.
